One of the best parts of my job is getting to work with incredible athletes like Jeff Byers. Jeff is an extraordinary football player who can play multiple positions and is at the top of the list in the 2010 NFL Draft. He played center and guard for USC under the leadership of coach Pete Carroll. In 2004, with Jeff on board, the USC Trojans won the NCAA Division I College Football Championship.
An injury that had occurred the day before, during training, brought Jeff to Dorfman Kinesiology last month. When he walked into the office, Jeff had a noticeable limp and was unable to go up or down stairs without pain. Normally, an athlete is out a minimum of 6 weeks with this type of injury. I got Jeff Byers right in 5 days.
Jeff made the 2008 Phil Steele’s All-American third team, Phil Steele’s All-Pac-10 first team, All-Pac-10 second team, ESPN.com All-Bowl Team, and won USC’s Chris Carlisle Courage Award.

Good luck in the draft, Jeff. We’re routing for you.
